My mission is to connect east and west fashion, beauty concepts and designs worldwide. I have been lucky to be a part of Phoenix Fashion week for last three years and have been invited as a blogger. I really had my mission on red carpet at Phoenix Fashion Week. I have been wearing fusion outfits from a sari to a modern avatar of lehenga aka skirt, beautiful Indian textile spring outfit. I wanted to bring Indian flavor to the fashion week but always thought it will be too ethnic but at Fashion week, I saw designers are globally influenced and they value Indian textiles and love our fabrics, colors and designs.

It has been a great opportunity to meet local fashion designers, boutique owners, photographers, makeup artist and bloggers at Phoenix Fashion Week. I really liked the concept of PHXFW where they introduce local fashion designers/boutiques from Phoenix and Tucson area and there designs are available to buy on their boutiques. If you are looking into Fashion as a career than PHXFW week is worth exploring, you will meet lot of budding fashion designers and will get to hear their stories and how what it takes to be a successful fashion designer. you will also find lot of hard working struggling artist who are waiting for a break.
